It was our pleasure to welcome Professor Louise Sharpe, School of Psychology, Sydney University, who presented our pre-conference workshop on the 19th of November, "Cognitive Behavioural Approaches to Facilitating Adjustment in Chronic Illness". 

Professor Sharpe also presented a keynote address on the 20th of November, entitled "Cognitive Processes in Pain".  

Dr Beverly Haarhoff, Massey University, Auckland, offered a half day workshop on Behavioural Activation as part of the conference programme.
